VA LGY
The VA offers a home loan benefit to service members and their families. They are searching for a vendor to help them provide information and options to their audience in a usable way.
Project Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) helps Service members, Veterans, and their families become homeowners by providing to lenders a home loan guaranty which guarantees a portion of the loan against loss, which in turn helps lenders provide the buyers with more favorable financing terms. The VA put out requests for proposals (RFP) because they wanted a vendors help to expand the program and update how people who qualify get their information.
We were given two weeks to present a fleshed out concept to the VA on how we would solve their problem. I worked in a team of three, as the sole designer, and created visuals for review including:

Impact
I presented and answered questions about my designs to VA Leadership, company leadership, and multiple mortgage company leaders. Our concept was to create an online portal to support the end-to-end journey of Veterans as they become homeowners or have their home modified, as well as make sure Veterans have access to the best possible mortgage product for them.
Due to the work on the project my company was awarded a $329M VA Loan Guaranty Service (LGY) DevSecOps contract!
